I wanted to take a moment to thank all the new members who have signed up to share in my adventure. I would have never thought so many would be interested in my little blog. But every day my inbox is full of more registrations. In this world online we tend to isolate ourselves. I just hope as our family grows more and more of you make comments and interact with each other. Weather it be about music or being a Youtube partner. I have no problems answering any questions I can about either. I learn everyday from all of you if you haven’t. Subscribed to my Youtube channel. Well I did it after four years of posting video’s making partner with Youtube. I went to a Youtube meet up in Austin Texas on March 12th. It was a long day I drove four hours to get there stayed two and drove back home another four hours. I was able to meet Margaret Healy which leads the Partner program and had a chance to listen to some good advise from the horses mouth. One thing I learned is Im not a social butterfly and I found it hard just to walk up to someone and start asking about there content. I did visit with the publisher of Mens Health magazine he was there getting the skinny on starting up their branded channel. I also found that Im not the only forty year old partner . The room was a mix of all ages. I do have my wheels turning and Im planning on getting back to making videos again real soon. Im having a little speed bump in my life right now. My wife has left me after 14 great years and its taken the wind out of my sail. But I’ll survive and start on a new adventure in my life and I’ll keep you all posted
as it unfolds.
Well on Monday Im going to be traveling to Austin Tx to attend my first YouTube Partner gathering. Until now I have felt pretty alone in my venture into online video posting. Im still surprised I was chosen to be a partner. But at last I will be face to face with the people who direct YouTubes partner program. I have so many questions to ask but I’m narrowing it done just encase Im limited on how many I can ask. Its a four hour drive to get there for a couple hour meeting. But Im looking forward to it. I’ll keep you posted when I return.
Well Ive been very busy. Last year I had a friend ask If I would submit a song for her new movie. I decided to send my first song I recorded with ProTools SE and she decided to use it. The movie is “Autumn of Route 66″ its filmed by Ester Brynm she is know for her award winning movie ” Butterflies” you can view on YouTube. The movie is going to travel to film festival all over the world. I’m very proud to be apart of her project. This month I was approached bu Director Curtis French to write music for his latest short film “Tough Love” Im feeling a little pressure but I have two months to complete to songs. Also this month I am meeting with Youtube in Austin at SXSW they are halving a Partner Meetup. So I’ll keep you posted and list the links to both Movies when I have them.

Well tomorrow at 2 pm everything comes together in a different way than I would have ever guess. On a journey that started with wanting to make music and ending up a YouTube partner. Now 300 videos later and three years I am going to do a Pro Video shoot but I’m not shooting it but acting as a spokes man for the Mattress company I work for. I’m a little nervous but I’m going to try to bring it like a boss. I’ll be up loading the making and the commercial it self so keep a look out on my YouTube page and my website.
